When parents don’t support their childrens passion, the common factors are maybe the parents are scares of failure for their children or they'vhad a specific trauma on that specific topic.

First of alll In many cultures, traditional career paths are highly valued. Parents may prioritize in pursuing career rather than passion and financial security, pushing children toward professions like medicine, law, or engineering. They might believe that pursuing a passion, especially in the arts or unconventional fields, is risky or impractical for their childrens Fulure.

Second of which is Fear of Failure: Parents often worry about their child's future. If they see a passion as less viable, they may fear it could lead to disappointment or hardship. This concern can manifest as discouragement, even if the child has the talent and dedication to succeed in that area.

3. Personal Experiences: Many parents draw from their own life experiences. If they struggled pursuing their dreams or faced setbacks, they might project those fears onto their children. Or in fast terms their scared that you will encounter the same mistake dey did.

4. Lack of Understanding: Parents may not fully understand their child’s passion. If they’re unfamiliar with a specific field, they might dismiss it as unrealistic or frivolous. Open communication can help bridge this gap, allowing parents to see the value and potential in their child's interests.

5. Lack of Support: Support from parents can be crucial for a child's confidence and motivation. When that support is lacking, it can lead to low self esteem or even worse, it could lead ro varies of mental health problems and that can cause a significant impact on how the son/daughter can tackle their paths

Has no drive or their not strivibg ro be great or succesfull. That why your parents ar paranoid in guiding you or choosing the paths of your future

In my conclusion and personal expiriences it is okay try or to prove your parents that their judgement is wrong, nasa kamay mo na ang future mo kung mag poporsige ka baliw.
